colette grand café.

by two after twenty

When I was freelancing, I looked everywhere in Toronto for different places to set up with a laptop and a nice steaming mug (and a power outlet – definitely a must). Looking back, I wish I had known of Colette Grand Cafe. Stepping into Colette is like stepping into a different world (especially during a Toronto winter, guh). It’s filled with life, subtle pastel colours reminiscent of a summer house, and it always smells glorious in here. And the atmosphere is usually in this perfect “middle zone” – not too loud, not too busy, but still with a steady hum of pleasant conversation so it’s not dead quiet. I still have to try brunch or an actual meal here (I know, I know, I still haven’t!), but for now, a few snaps from a quick coffee visit.
