mildred’s temple kitchen.

There are so many amazing places to eat in Liberty Village. I’m talking everything – from fast-food, take-out, espressos, scrumptious brunches, fancy eats and everything in between. Mildred’s Temple Kitchen is one I’ve been meaning to visit for a long time, and it didn’t let me down.
First off, I’m a huge fan of open kitchens. I can hardly cook a slice of toast adequately, yet I consume the Food Network like candy … I just love watching people cook, so obviously open kitchens are always a plus. MTK’s decor is also a photographer’s dream. The place has huge wall-to-wall windows, and the booths are comfier than my bed (seriously).
I had the huevos Monty (black been refritos and cheddar in a tortilla, topped with an egg, guac and salsa). Joel, who accompanied me, opted for the pulled pork hash in a skillet. Yum yum.
A quick note – all of August, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen will be serving brunch every single day. Month of Brunch. Monday to Sunday. 11AM to 3PM. All. Week. Brunch. Do I need to say more? I may just go back again.

Thanks Jade! The lights are one of my favourites parts, too.
