ella’s uncle.
by two after twenty
Months ago, Jackson and I had brunch at The Lakeview. On our way out, he remembered there was a shop down the road that sold the absolute “best cookie”. Now, I am SO guilty of using the “best ______” phrase, mainly because when I find something incredible, it’s so hard for me to describe the incredible-ness that I usually just give up. So when I heard “best cookie”, y’know, there was a bit of eye roll going on. But Jackson literally pulled the car over, parked, ran, bought and then made me eat this “best” cookie. And seriouslyhonestlyohmygoodness, and I’m not just saying this because I’m too lazy to think of a more accurate description, it was the best cookie of my life. A few days ago, I was reunited with the shop that is ella’s uncle.
I had a lot of difficulty with the processing and ordering of this post, and I realized it’s because I love this place way too much. It’s small and intimate, cozy and fragrant. The kitchen is so homey and inviting. The music is perfect, the decor is so charming. And I think I already mentioned the best cookie ever part, but I’ll mention it again. Best cookie ever.
I love all the little details you captured in these photographs, it really tells the story.
Thanks so much! :)

Thanks Tru! Yep. I just walk in with my cameras, order something, and then sneakily take some photos. Of course I cross my fingers for some great light too :)
